Hobeca started as a manufacturer¹s representative in 1979. Due to market demands the direction of the company changed to being an importer / distributor, with a focus on sourcing products requested by our customers. Hobeca was known as end to end company if you couldn't find it elsewhere.
Today, we have over 6,000 product lines and import mainly from Europe and Asia. We supply to a wide range of customers including electrical, plumbing, automotive and engineering trades, building supplies and general hardwmare stores.
Our strength is our ability to supply a wide range of products (28 brands in total) to our customers. High quality manufacturing brands are the backbone to our success. Tthese brands include Koken, Topman, Felo and Will; Aigo, Jaz, Ultra, Autosol and Hammerite (plus others). These brands are complemented by a diverse range of products supplied by other key brands - AmPro, Worldwide and Upgrade. We also support a local manufacturer - stoA - who produces innovative safety products that improve the working conditions of our nation's trade's men and women.
Hobeca's strength comes from our family culture. We employ 19 staff, all of whom are passionate about what they do. Many have been with us for over 15 years and are valued by our company and our customers. The relationships with-in our business and with our business partners are paramount to the success of all concerned.
